Hanoi has a warm china climate typical for the region. This means the city experiences wet summers and mild, dry winters. The rainy season begins in May and is over by mid-October. We recommend visiting Hanoi from November until February when it's dry and the temperature and humidity are also much lower compared to the rest of the year. Hanoi can be very busy during this period so it is recommended to book a place to stay in advance.
