Hoi-An has a tropical climate. Temperature differences are not so big between summer and winter. From mid-October to mid-December you have a possible chance of cyclones on the coast. During this period you can also experience of a lot of rainfall that can lead to local flooding. It is not that you can not visit Hoi-An during this period, but the weather is unpredictable. Best travel time would be from February until October.
During the months of January, February and December you are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures that fall between 20°C and 26°C.
