The climate in Pai, like the rest of northern Thailand, can be roughly divided into three seasons. The warm season is relatively short, lasting from mid-March to late June. After that, the rainy season officially begins, with September and October seeing the highest rainfall.
From November, the cool season begins, with night temperatures dropping some days below 10°C (50°F), especially in the hills. During the day, however, it remains sunny and dry, with temperatures around 25°C (77°F)–30°C (86°F). Despite these cooler night temperatures, winter is a great time to visit Pai.
