Ubud has a tropical climate with two real distinct seasons. The rainy season and the dry season. In the rainy season you will often experience tropical monsoon rain in the afternoon. These showers are hard and violent, but quickly pass. Ubud is slightly colder than the coast of Bali. Because the slightly higher altitude the average temperature is a few degrees lower than on the coast.
Ubud has high temperatures year round ranging between 27°C and 29°C.
