Búzios has a tropical savanna climate and experiences two distinct seasons: a dry and rainy season. The rainy season lasts from October to April, but in May there may still be a heavy shower from time to time. The months of June, July and August are great months to visit Búzios, partly because the temperatures are slightly lower, but mostly because it rains less often. During summer months (December - March) the rainfall and higher temperatures can make it feel very humid.
