Climate and Average Weather in Martinique
Martinique has a tropical and humid climate with an average temperature of 23 degrees to 29 degrees Celsius. (75°- to 85° Fahrenheit). In fact, the average monthly temperatures remain remarkably stable, varying by only a few degrees year-round. The climate is moderated because of the trade winds, which bring refreshing breezes from the northeast throughout the year.
The rainy and humid season is from June to October, but in general rainstorms pass quickly and the sun shines on most days. The island is vulnerable to devastating cyclones (hurricanes) every eight years on average. December through May is considered the dry season.
