Xiamen Climate by Month
Xiamen has a subtropical monsoon climate with warm, humid summers (from June to August) and moderate, relatively dry winters (from December to February). Average summer temperatures range from 23°C to 33°C at the peak of summer in July.
The coldest part of the year is between the end of January and the middle of February. The wettest period of the year is between spring and early summer. Xiamen is a year-round destination, but travellers should be aware that hurricanes usually occur between July and September. Also between late June and the end of August is the most humid period of the year, with humidity rising to sometimes 95 percent.
