With a humid subtropical climate the Gold Coast experiences warm but wet summers and mild winters. Most rainfall in summer is seen in the afternoon and the evening so the humidity may increase. Winters are soft and relatively dry. With around 300 sunny days a year, the Gold Coast is a year-round destination. However keep in mind that winters can have chilly days.
