Rotuma Climate by Month
Rotuma has a tropical rainforest climate, with much rainfall throughout the year. Due to the northern location of the island, the averages here differ considerably from those of the more centrally located islands of Fiji. For example, the average daily temperature is a few degrees higher and there is more precipitation.
There is no real rainy season in Rotuma since every month sees a significant amount of rain. In the first part of the year, tropical storms and hurricanes can occur. The average humidity is on the high side with 82% throughout the year.
