Climate and average weather in Zambia
Zambia has a tropical and tropical steppe climate with three distinct seasons. From mid-April to August it is dry in Zambia. The nights are nice and cool and the days are cooler than in the rest of the year. Even if it is still fine with an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius(77 degrees Fahrenheit).
From September to mid-November the weather in Zambia suddenly becomes a lot warmer. The mercury then easily exceeds 30 degrees Celsius (86 F) per day. During this period the sun is shining bright all day. Most precipitation occurs in summer and the wettest month is at least ten times as wet as the driest month in winter. In the north of Zambia there is a moderate China climate due to the higher elevation and slightly lower temperatures. The western part of Zambia that borders Angola is significantly warmer.
