Climate and Weather of Congo-Brazzaville
Most of Congo-Brazzaville has a tropical savanna climate, while the lower-lying central areas of the country have a mix of a tropical rainforest climate and tropical monsoon climate.The southern part of Congo-Brazzaville has a rainy season and also experiences a very dry period. The rainy season starts in November and continues through April. The months of June, July and August are extremely dry. In the north of the country there is a different rainfall pattern. Here December-February and June-August are somewhat drier than the two rainy seasons, which run from March to May and September to November.
There is a consistent mean daytime temperature, which is around 25°C all year round. The highest minimum temperatures are measured on the coast.
