On an area of 12 hectares located high above Lake General Carrera, the spectacular family-owned Mallin Colorado Ecolodge is home to four amazing wooden cottages surrounded by mountains and greenery. We loved getting away from mass tourism and enjoyed the silence and peace of its beautiful landscape.
Surrounded by a lush garden it offers scenic lake views. Rooms have a private bathroom and a large seating area. Some lucky ones (like us) can enjoy a private hot tub and mini-bar. All cabins are isolated and in a private and harmonious environment with the landscape. They are rustic cabins built with native woods, surrounded by a well-kept park of Native trees. 
Being in the cabin appreciating the spectacular views from every window is a great way to rest. You can expect a very good sleep and an even better awakening. When up you could go for a breathtaking walk. The hike behind the property is spectacular, a lovely 4 hour walk from the property will bring you to a view of another valley and glacier. You can also enjoy walking down to the beach and to Mirador above Lakes Bertrand and Plomo.
