When it comes to rainfall, Junín sees significant variations throughout the year. February tends to be the wettest, receiving 270 mm (11 in) of rain, while June is much drier with just 33 mm (1.3 in). Travelers should note that the rainy season falls during January, February, March and December, bringing substantial precipitation ranging from 216 mm (8.5 in) to 270 mm (11 in) monthly.
