Climate and Weather of Czech Republic
The Czech Republic has three different climates: a temperate oceanic climate with mild summers and fairly mild winters, a temperate continental climate with cooler winters and reasonable amounts of rainfall (on a yearly basis) and a cool continental climate. Most rain falls during summer months which is from June till September. Winters are on average drier than summers. This is mainly because in the warmest time of the year there can be thunderstorms that can bring a lot of rain in a short time. The temperature difference between summer and winter is relatively high, due to the landlocked geographical position. The best time to visit the Czech Republic is from mid-May to mid-September. This is the warmest and most sunny period of the year. Are you going for a city break to for example Prague? Then the best months are May, June and September.
