Eloúnda Climate by Month
Elounda has a Mediterranean climate with mild and wet winters and warm and dry summers. Being situated on the most southern of all the Greek Islands, Elounda enjoys plenty of sunshine and the longest of all the summer seasons in the region, lasting from April to October. The weather in April is nice and pleasant and few are the times when the sunlight is suddenly replaced by light rain. In October it rarely rains, the weather is still warm and mild. The popular holiday months from June to September can see temperatures reaching 40°C. Winters are not too cold which makes this place suitable as a winter sun destination.
