United Kingdom UK media: pubs will open in May

British Prime Minister Johnson is working on an irreversible exit strategy to get out of lockdown, several British media outlets report. According to The Daily Mail, hotels will be allowed to reopen from April, followed by pubs and restaurants in May. From July, the 'old' commuter and office life will have to be picked up again. Prime Minister Johnson will announce the plans next Monday.

The Daily Telegraph writes that the lockdown will not be eased until the number of new infections has plunged below 1,000 a day.
