Georgia The Georgian is postponing the opening of the border until at least August

The Georgian government has announced it will no longer open its border on 1 July and is postponing the opening until at least August. Recently, Georgia had fruitful talks with partner countries, Israel, and various European Union members to recommence tourism. However, those countries have canceled the reopening of borders to tourists due to the epidemiological situation.

We recommend to always check if there are any latest travel restrictions before you book an accommodation. Travel may only be permitted for certain purposes and recreational travel may not be specifically permitted. Government measures are constantly changing, so we recommend that you regularly check for updates.
