Covid update for South Korea

South Korea South Korea tightens Corona measures

South Korea is tightening measures against the coronavirus after it was eased a month ago. As of Thursday, meetings with more than 100 people are banned. Churches and sporting events are only allowed to admit 30% of their normal audience. Furthermore, visitors to places at high risk of contamination, such as clubs and karaoke bars, should keep more distance.

More than 200 new corona cases have now been recorded in the country for four days in a row. Several clusters have been discovered in office buildings and at healthcare facilities in Seoul.
