In Baja California mother whales give birth to their little ones. The best time to visit this area is from January to March, but actually you have a good chance to meet these mighty animals any time. It is considered the best place in the world to see whales up close.

It often happens that a group of gray whales comes to see a boat with tourists. The animals like to be touched and even follow the boat for a while.

Baja California has pleasant temperatures year round. From July to September it rains a bit more and in this period it can be very humid and warm. Starting October it rains less and from December to June is the dry season.
