Climate and Average Weather in Grenada

Grenada has a tropical monsoon climate. This climate is associated with tropical temperatures, which are around 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) during the day. In winter months it is slightly cooler. From April to November temperatures often rise above thirty degrees Celsius (86° Fahrenheit) combined with tropical rain.

From December to May is the dry season with an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). The sea temperature during summer and autumn is also around 24 degrees Celsius (77°F). Most rain falls in the months of August, September and October.

January to April is the best time to visit Grenada. The sun shows itself a lot which means it is great weather for sunbathing and swimming. May can also be fine for a beach holiday, but keep in mind that is a bit wetter than from January to April. Because of the strong UV radiation, look up the shade as much as possible and use enough sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
