Colombia Colombia removes PCR testing requirement for entry into the country

Effective November 4, 2020, the government of Colombia has removed the PCR testing requirement for entry into the country.

Previously, all arrivals (both foreigners and nationals returning home) were required to show proof of a negative PCR test, taken no longer than 96 hours prior to arrival into Colombia. As of November 4th, that requirement has been removed, making entry into Colombia much easier.

Colombia Colombia reopens borders for tourism on September 21

Colombia is officially reopening its borders for international tourism on September 21, 2020.

Colombia’s airports will also reopen on the 21st, initially connecting the nation with the USA, Ecuador, Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Guatemala, as announced by the Ministry of Transportation.

Colombia Colombia's international commercial flights remain suspended

Colombia's international commercial flights remain suspended until further notice, except cargo operators, humanitarian emergencies, and extreme scenarios that have authorization from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Colombia has also suspended all commercial flights into the country. All arriving travelers must complete a “Control Preventivo Contra el Coronavirus" prior to arrival, and are subject to a 14-day quarantine. Source: Kayak
