Covid update for Belgium

Belgium Belgium bans non-essential travel until 1 March

Belgium has declared a new corona measure: a travel ban for non-essential travel to and from Belgium until March 1. The ban will start on January 27. The current corona measures, such as restricting contacts, working from home as much as possible and wearing masks, are also extended.

Furthermore, travelers from the UK, South Africa and South America must be quarantined for 10 days with two mandatory PCR tests on the first and seventh days.

Prime Minister Alexander De Croo also said that non-medical contact professions, such as hairdressers, may reopen on February 13. An evaluation will be carried out on 5 February to see if this is possible.
