Climate and Weather of San Marino
San Marino has a Mediterranean climate with rainfall throughout the year. San Marino has four seasons. Winter is pretty mild with average maximum temperatures of 6°C to 9°C and minimum temperatures usually hovering just above freezing. It can even snow during winter. After an often changeable spring, San Marino experiences a beautiful summer in which maximum temperatures often rise well above 25°C and there are also days with tropical temperatures of 30°C or higher. July and August are the warmest months of the year. Although the sun and clear skies dominates in summer, there is also a small chance of rain or thunderstorms.The summer period is the best time to visit San Marino. However July and August are also the most busy months. If you have the luxury that you can go whenever you want we would suggest the months May, June or September. Temperatures are also very pleasant during these months. Those who visit San Marino in another period will have less chance of good weather. If you want to go in winter, there is a chance that San Marino is full of snow. The snow gives San Marino a fairytale look.
