Climate and Weather of Macao
The peninsula of Macau is located 60 kilometers southwest of HongKong and has a humid subtropical climate with mild winters and warm humid summers. The humidity is very high in Macau with an average annual percent above 79 percent. Some days you will even experience 90 percent humidity.The coldest month in Macau has an average daily temperature of around 18°C. Starting April the temperature rises quickly to the the average summer temperature of 30°C. Summer is from May until September.
Rain is seen throughout the year, but the rainy / wet season starts in April and lasts until Octobre. Hurricanes are occuring more than average in Macau. Hurricane season starts in June and ends in December.
