Climate and Weather of Guyana
Thanks to its location just above the equator Guyana has a tropical climate. Temperatures are high with maximum temperatures between 30°C and 31°C almost all year round and night temperatures between 22°C and 24°C.The rainy season varies by location. Overall, Guyana has two rainy seasons. The first one runs from December to early February (the small rainy season), the second begins in late April and lasts until mid-August (the main rainy season). The in between periods are drier, but should definitely not be called dry. During the two drier periods the average precipitation per month is still about 60 mm to 180 mm.
