What is the best time to visit Azerbaijan? Due to the risk of extreme weather, both in summer and winter, spring and autumn is the best travel period. If you travel to the coast, for example to the capital Baku, then summer is also a nice option. The average maximum temperature on the coastal areas is around 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). Due to the lower relative humidity, it can be very pleasant.
