Singapore has become the latest in a string of countries that have made testing on arrival mandatory for entry, with the US enacting a similar policy last week.

Singapore Singapore reopens borders for tourism from select countries

Singapore has announced it will reopen its borders for international tourists from select countries starting on September 1st, 2020.

In an official statement, the Singapore Ministry of Health stated that there are now several countries where the virus is under control.

“We have monitored the situation and assessed that there are several countries/regions where the virus situation is well under control and the risk of importation is low. We will therefore update our border measures accordingly.”
