Scotland Scotland goes into lockdown

In Scotland, people will no longer be allowed to leave their homes as part of the corona policy from tomorrow, unless it is strictly necessary. The measure will last until the rest of this month. Schools remain closed.

Scotland Travelling to Scotland from Spain means quarantine for two weeks

All people travelling to the UK from Spain must be quarantined for two weeks upon arrival. The Scottish Government announced the measure, with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson expected to follow soon. The measure will take effect from midnight today. 

"Spain will no longer be on the list of countries for which quarantine no longer applies, due to the increase in corona cases in the country in recent days. In this way, we want to reduce the risk of the virus re-emerging in the UK," the Scottish Government said in a statement.
