Russia Moscow relaxes corona measures

The mayor of Moscow has announced that the corona measures in his city will be relaxed. Catering can stay open all night and staff can work in the office again. Until now, bars and restaurants had to be closed between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. and at least 30 percent of people had to work from home.

"The pandemic is decreasing in severity and under the current circumstances we must create the conditions to restore the economy as quickly as possible," said Moscow Mayor Sobjanin.

Russia Russia reopens borders for 7 countries

Russia has reopened its borders to nationals and residents of 7 countries, allowing tourists to visit.

Russia grounded most international flights on March 27, with only a handful of special repatriation flights and other government-approved flights bringing passengers to and from Russia over the past few months. However, starting August 1 and recently updated on September 3, a total of 7 nations can now visit Russia for the purposes of tourism.

Residents and national from the following 7 countries can currently enter Russia:

  •     Egypt
  •     Maldives
  •     Switzerland
  •     Tanzania
  •     Turkey
  •     United Arab Emirates
  •     United Kingdom
