Luxembourg Luxembourg has restricted the entry of travelers arriving from outside the EU

Luxembourg has restricted the entry of travelers arriving from outside the EU who are not nationals/residents of EU/Schengen area countries and their family members until at least March 31. Travelers arriving from certain countries must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. Click here to find the latest entry requirements.

Luxembourg Luxembourg lifts travel restrictions for third countries

As from 1 July Luxembourg and other EU countries start lifting the travel restrictions at the external borders for residents of the following third countries:

  • Algeria
  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Georgia
  • Japan
  • Montenegro
  • Morocco
  • New Zealand
  • Rwanda
  • Serbia
  • South Korea
  • Thailand
  • Tunisia
  • Uruguay
  • China, subject to confirmation of reciprocity

Malta already changed the travel advice for 16 countries within the Schengen zone. Tourists from France, Belgium, Germany, Iceland, Estonia, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Luxembourg are welcome again since the 15th of June.
