Egypt Museums and historic places in Egypt to re-open in September

The ministry of tourism and antiquities declared that museums and historic places are to re-open as of the beginning of September according to the rules and regulations approved by the ministry.

Egypt From September travelers must show test results in Egypt

Egypt will require all visitors to the country to present Polymerase Chain Reaction test results for the new coronavirus on arrival from Sept. 1, the prime minister said in a televised address on Wednesday.

Egypt will also allow Friday prayers to resume in mosques from Aug. 28 under strict health and safety protocols to be issued by the Ministry of Endowments, Mostafa Madbouly added.

Egypt Egypt allows commercial flights into the country

Egypt has reopened its airports to international travelers. Travelers will have temperatures screened and will be required to complete a monitoring card with personal details. Travelers arriving in Egypt from overseas are required to self-isolate for 14 days and commit to precautionary Covid-19 isolation guidance. Foreign nationals who are not Egyptian residents must have an insurance plan to to cover medical expenses in Egypt.

Egypt Egypt reopens borders from July 1

 Egypt will open up its main seaside resorts for international flights and foreign tourists from July 1 according to Reuters. The areas opening up are southern Sinai, where the resorts of Sharm el-Sheikh and Dahab are located, Red Sea province, home to the Hurghada and Marsa Alam resorts, and Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean, the cabinet statement said.
