Covid update for the United Kingdom

United Kingdom UK relaxes quarantine rules

The UK is going to change the strict quarantine rules for low-risk countries from July 6 according to the BBC. The British Government decided this on Friday the 26th of June.

Until now, everyone who entered the country had to be quarantined for two weeks. Exactly which countries are involved will be announced next week. All countries are divided by a group of experts into three categories: green, orange and red. Tourists from a green or orange country do not have to be quarantined for two weeks when visiting the UK.

In one week from now, the new rules are expected to take effect. This will also make it easier for Britons to travel abroad as well.

We recommend to always check if there are any latest travel restrictions before you book an accommodation. Travel may only be permitted for certain purposes and recreational travel may not be specifically permitted.
