Covid update for the United States of America

United States of America U.S. reaches group immunity in summer

The United States is on track to build up enough group immunity to the coronavirus in summer, U.S. President Joe Biden said this on Tuesday. He thinks the number of vaccines administered in his first 100 days as president could reach 150 million. That is 50 million more vaccinations than the previous target.

The daily number of vaccinations can rise to 1.5 million, but that's a logistical challenge, Biden said at a news conference.
