Covid update for Tanzania

Tanzania Tanzania is now accepting tourists under normal and regular ‘pre-covid’ border rules

As of June 2020, Tanzania is now accepting tourists under normal and regular ‘pre-covid’ border rules. Tanzania has not implemented any entry restrictions, but all arriving travelers are subject to medical screening upon arrival. No mandatory quarantine period is currently in place, however temperature checks, mask wearing, and social distancing is in effect.

A completed “Health Form” must be presented to the Ministry of Health personnel upon arrival.

We recommend to always check if there are any latest travel restrictions before you book an accommodation. Travel may only be permitted for certain purposes and recreational travel may not be specifically permitted. Government measures are constantly changing, so we recommend that you regularly check for updates. For Tanzania we recommend you check your own countries travel advisory notice.
