Portugal mandates wearing masks in crowded places

In Portugal, people should wear a mask in places where it is not possible to keep their distance, the parliament has decided.

In any case, the measure applies for 70 days and all residents aged 10 and older must comply. Those who do not comply risk a fine of between 100 and 500 euros.
