Norway tightens Corona measures

Residents of Norway should avoid non-essential travel, says Norwegian Prime Minister Solberg. It announced new measures this morning to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Furthermore, people need to further restrict their social contacts and cafes close at midnight.

Last week, the Norwegian government also introduced new measures, but Solberg said it was too risky to wait to see if they had an effect. "We are now seeing a significant increase in the number of people testing positive for the virus. The situation is very serious and we don't have time to wait."
