Covid update for Italy


Italy Italian ski slopes remain closed

For a moment it seemed as if the ski slopes in Italy could reopen tomorrow, but the Ministry of Health has rejected this. The new virus mutations give the authorities too much concern to proceed.
The Italian newspaper La Repubblica writes that the chief adviser of the ministry is even calling for a new lockdown. As far as he is concerned, the opening of the ski lifts is out of the question at the moment.
