Covid update for Iceland

Iceland reopens the borders for tourists from every country in the world

Iceland reopens the borders for tourists from every country in the world. At the airport, everyone is required (free of charge) to test for the coronavirus. Tourists must leave accommodation details and tourists from outside Europe are not allowed to travel to mainland Europe.

We recommend to always check if there are any latest travel restrictions before you book an accommodation. Travel may only be permitted for certain purposes and recreational travel may not be specifically permitted. Government measures are constantly changing, so we recommend that you regularly check for updates. Click here for travel restrictions and guidelines for Iceland.
