Covid update for the Dominican Republic


Dominican Republic Dominican Republic has reopened for tourism

Travelers from all countries will be permitted to enter the Dominican Republic under regular visa entry rules. Travelers will be required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test which is not older than 5 days (counting from the time of taking the swab to arriving at the airport).

Travelers that show up without proof of a negative COVID-19 test result will be tested at the airport using the rapid test method at no extra cost. The Dominican Republic does NOT have any quarantine entry requirements and does NOT offer quarantines instead of COVID-19 testing. 

Travelers showing COVID-19 symptoms or whose test results are positive will be quarantined at locations authorized by the Dominican Republic Government.
