Curaçao relaxes corona measures

From Wednesday, Curaçao will partially relax the current corona measures on the island. The curfew will no longer be in effect at 21:00, but instead at 23:00 and will apply until 04:30.

The alcohol ban in force in the hospitality and public spaces is also being lifted. Restaurants may also remain open until 22:00, instead of until 20:00. It is only allowed to eat outdoors.

The number of infections on Curaçao is steadily decreasing: a month ago the peak was still above 1800 infections, now there are less than 560 cases. Nineteen people died of corona on the island.
