Saint-Tropez enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers. Summers have little rainfall, but occasional heavy thunderstorms can occur. With almost three thousand hours of sunshine per year, Saint-Tropez is one of France's sunniest destinations, attracting the international jet set.
The average maximum temperature in summer is around 28°C, reaching up to 29°C in August. Winter temperatures average around 13°C, offering pleasant conditions. Spring is somewhat less stable due to the relatively cold seawater and the chance of cold air being brought in by land. In fall it is often a matter of being lucky. You can have wonderful days in September and October, but the chance of a period with gray skies and rain increases the closer you get to November (the start of winter).
During the months of May, June, September and October you are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures that fall between 20°C and 26°C.
